Dear Wyatt,

You are my perfect son. You have been with us for 2 months now. We are enjoying every moment. You have grown so much, and you are interacting with us much more now. You smile, laugh, giggle and coo now. And everyone swears we hear you saying our different names and talking with us, especially Grandpa Purdom. But he swears you have been saying Grandpa since week one. Your lovely smile wakes us up every morning; well what you call morning. It’s usually not much past3am. And by smile I mean, your cute little cry that means, “Mommy, I want to eat.” Still we are so blessed to wake up to your perfect face. We love you so much and are so excited for the days and years to come.

Wyatt has now been with us for 1 whole month. I can’t believe how time has flown by. He is the most adorable, entertaining and loveable little man in the world, every moment is amazing. He now smiles, he always did, laughs, makes baby conversation with us, eats (he never had a problem with that), sleeps, and of course poops. He is a baby. But he is my baby and more perfect then I could ever ask for. My husband and I look forward to the days and years to come, we are so blessed. And might I say, he is quite the little model, if I do say so myself!!

The Sneeze

 He holds my finger while he eats.

 I hold his hand when he sleeps.

 I stare into his eyes open or asleep,

 And dream of what his little mind dreams.

 I love his smiles, I love his pouts.

 His cries tear my heart right out.

 My little one born to me so small,

 I know one day will grow up great and tall.

 So know this my little one, 

You are always loved, Wyatt my perfect son.

My son, Wyatt; it’s so crazy even now to say that and we are coming up on a month since my whole world changed and I got to hold him in my arms, a mom for the first time. He is by far the best thing to ever happen to me. And not a day goes by that I don’t thank God for giving me such a perfect little boy.

Mark and Tami were married onSaturday September 10, 2011. When Mark and Tami asked me to photograph their wedding I knew it was going to be a wedding to remember, and it really was. It was beautiful. Mark and Tami have two of the most amazing personalities, and are two great people to be around. The love they have for each other beams out of them, and is obvious to those around. And they have some great friends and family, who all know how to have a great time. Thank you so much for including me in this wonderful event. Congratulations!!!

LeeLand has the most beautiful well coordinated nursery. His Grandma made a lot of the things found in the nursery, which gives it a very comforting feeling. He is so happy when he is in his nursery, and he pretty much slept the whole time. He is such a cute little guy. Thank you so much Little LeeLand for letting me into your home.

Oh little LeeLand, you have left me speechless. Your cute little hands and feet have made me impatient. Your face is tireless and leaves me in awe. You are oh so cute in every little way. And I am so glad to be in your little life, that is only little now because you have just come into the world less than a week ago. You will grow to be a great little man, and one day a man, but we need not think of that right now.

To us all right now, you are a perfectly made little LeeLand, which your mommy could ask nothing more than to be. And you have one great mommy LeeLand and don’t you forget it. When she is telling you at 16, “No, you can not borrow the car to hang out with your friends;” she is doing it with all the love in the world. Little LeeLand you will appreciate her no’s and yes’s one day, I can promise you that. Little LeeLand you are very loved, and that’s all that matters.
